Meet the Staff
Living Faith Assembly is blessed to have a leadership team who are truly dedicated to Christ and accomplishing His will. Following are brief bio's of our leadership team and their qualifications for ministry.
Rulon & Dana Combs
Rulon and Dana came to Cottage Grove in January of 2003. Rulon has served as the Lead Pastor of Living Faith Assembly for over 17 years.
Pastor Rulon's core values would include biblical preaching, a team ministry approach, and intentional discipleship. He has expressed a desire to lead a church where biblical views are embraced and encouraged, where members care about the needs of those around them and who want to connect others to the body of Chris
Dana works at one of our local elementary schools as the lead secretary. She has been an integral part of our worship ministry since 2003. She has a BA in Illustration from Oregon State and has often used her artistic abilities to add a creative flair to our ministries over the years.
Rulon graduated from Northwest University with a degree in Ministry Leadership. He and Dana have been happily married since 1987. They have three adult children: Caleb, Kelsy, and Chloe.

Alex and Chloe Dyke
Next Gen Pastor
We are very excited to introduce the newest members of our Living Faith team…Alex and Chloe Dyke. Alex has accepted our invitation to come and serve as our Next Gen Pastor. The Next Gen Pastor will ultimately oversee the age groups from birth to college age. He will work with the existing team leaders and volunteers to provide the training and resources needed to develop a discipleship culture. He will develop transition strategies so that students will not fall through the cracks as they transition from elementary to middle school, from middle school to high school, and from high school to college age. Initially, however, Alex and Chloe will be spending the majority of their time creating a discipleship culture with our middle school and high school students. Alex has a passion for getting young people involved in ministry and plans to involve them in missions trips as well.
Alex and Chloe have two children: Penelope is 3 years old and Ezekiel (Zeak) is 1 year old. Alex recently completed his ministry training through Oregon Youth Alive Ministry Academy and is working on completing a Bachelor’s Degree in Ministry Leadership through Northwest University. Alex has served as a ministry intern in Albany and in Baker City. He is a regular part of the worship team as both leader and band member. He plays guitar and drums. Alex loves the outdoors and enjoys hunting, fishing and camping. And we recently discovered that Alex is a committed Duck fan.
Alex and Chloe will be moving to Cottage Grove at the end of June and will be starting their new role on July 1st. Please be praying that God will use them powerfully to turn this next generation into disciples who make disciples.

Stephanie and Brian Rodgers
Stephanie and Brian have been part of the Living Faith family for many years. They have served in many capacities during that time. Stephanie has a long history of volunteering in the Kid's Zone ministry as a teacher and helper. Brian has been been a faithful volunteer on the worship team for 15 years and currently serves as a council member on the leadership team.
Their faithfulness and devotion to our children's spiritual growth has been a joy to watch. They have embraced our culture of discipleship and have demonstrated that with their own children: Lora & James.
